Kyrenia's coastline features rocky coves and many beaches including Acapulco, Alagadi Turtle, Escape and Sunset Beach. The harbor's horseshoe-shaped marina is dominated by a 7th-century castle and is the berth for luxury yachts, cruisers and local fishing boats. There is a fascinating shipwreck museum, restaurants and cafes dotted around the harbor which attract many tourists. The restaurants, tavernas and bars around the harbor are the focal point of Kyrenia's nightlife. There are many places of interest to visit during your holiday in Kyrenia, including the ruins of Bellapais Abbey, located in the Five Finger Mountains. The Venetian Castle, which once protected the port during high trading times, is a must-see. For the more adventurous there is paragliding from the heights above Karaoglanoglu where you can see the stunning surroundings of Northern Cyprus from the air. Slightly less adventurous are quad biking, horseback riding and paintball, which are also on offer here.
