Motorcycle Chrome Review - Turtle Wax Chrome Polish
September 26, 2022
Last spring we had to take my wife's car to the local dealer for service. I'm sure you all know how much fun this is. We decided to drive my Harley in to pick up the car when it was ready. It started raining on the way to the dealership. When we got home I was completely soaked. The previously immaculate bike was in pretty darn good shape. All the chrome of the bike was naturally covered in water stains. It looked terrible.
A few days later, after the weather cleared up, I started cleaning the bike with Honda Brite and Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. I've had my bottle of Turtle Wax Chrome Polish laying around for a long time. It's a white paste. Make sure the chrome is cool to the touch. You should also clean the chrome with spot-free soap and water before beginning to polish the chrome. Then simply pour a little turtle wax paste onto a clean rag and start buffing. Allow to dry to a veil, then wipe with a clean, dry rag. It removes light rust, tar and vermin from your motorcycle chrome. It leaves a brilliant shine and a protective film on the chrome.
Two thumbs up for Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. Good results and easy to use. A small bottle lasts a long time and is not very expensive. It is available at most auto parts shops.
